First we feast, then we hike! We'll start at the Humphrey Nature Center for the annual Friends of Letchworth State Park (FOLSP) pancake breakfast, then we'll head over to the x-country trails behind the Nature Center to explore an area we haven't taken many hikers. Guaranteed to get you wondering where you are and amazed when you figure it out!

Meeting Location: Humphrey Nature Center in Letchworth State Park. Enter at Castile Entrance, follow road to Humphrey Nature Center entrance, just past the Visitor Center.

Rating: Easy

Length: 2.5 miles

Elevation: Very little

Direction: Wandering around behind the Humphrey Nature Center.

Cost: $10/person + $8 cash pancake breakfast fee (payable on location to FOLSP)

Maximum participants: 20 (park restriction)

Minimum age: 13+

Dogs allowed: No

Bailouts: There are no bailouts on this hike.

Arrive 10 minutes before hike begins to sign waiver form and prompt start.

Recommended: Permethrin tick spray for boots/clothing, hiking poles, daypack with lots of water, snacks and electrolytes. Small first aid kit with moleskin and painkiller of choice. EpiPen if needed. Hat, sunglasses, and as the song goes: don't forget the sunscreen.
