Meeting Location: Meet at Dunkin' in Mt. Morris by 8:20am to sign waivers and start our adventure by 8:30am. We will be leaving at 8:30am sharp.

Length: 5.5 miles

Duration: 3.5 hours

Difficulty: Moderate for length - Trail 20 Northbound starts at the C Cabins and heads towards the CCC Lean To, Hogsback, and the Dam, then drops down to Rt. 36 at the old RG&E Power Station. Undulating hike to begin, as we drop down into a few gullies. Once we climb out of this area we'll take a detour to the CCC Lean To. This area will require a steep but short climb back to Trail 20. From here it is mostly flat with one tricky gully to traverse. Past Hogsback Overlook it is mostly flat and downhill to Rt. 36.

Price: $10

Bring: Headlamp, warm layered clothing, gloves, hat and any emergency medication.

Avoid: Cotton anything, especially pants & gloves

MICROSpikes recommended if light snow or ice. We'll have them to rent for $10 if you don't have a pair. Snowshoes if snow is 6+ inches or deeper, and are $20 to rent. Headlamps also available to rent for $10. All rental prices can be applied to purchase same day as rental.
