Bring: Headlamp, warm layered clothing.

MICROSpikes recommended if light snow or ice. We'll have them to rent for $10 if you don't have a pair. Snowshoes if snow is 6+ inches or deeper, and are $20 to rent. Headlamps also available to rent for $10. All rental prices can be applied to purchase same day as rental.

Please leave home: Alcohol (prohibited in the park without a permit), pets (darkness, slippery conditions)

Letchworth Full Moon Hike (yes, bring a headlamp!)

Join the Trail Otter Gang for the last full moon of 2023. We'll meet at the Dunkin' Donut in Mt. Morris and carpool to the trailhead. The trail starts at Rt. 36 by the river, and we'll climb Trail 20 up to the dam and back. Approximately 3 miles of hiking with some steep but manageable inclines. With a little luck the moon will be bright enough so we won't need our headlamps.
