Truly a gem in the Genesee River Valley - a beautiful southern Finger Lakes exploration hike at the Genesee Valley Conservancy's Gully Preserve!

Buck the trend and join us for a Black Friday morning rendezvous at MacFadden's Cafe in Dansville. We'll get some coffee and yummy food, then carpool to nearby Genesee Valley Conservancy land for a spectacular waterfall hike.

Clothing: Wear weather appropriate clothes. There will be one water crossing - if you decide to cross be sure to wear waterproof shoes or bring bread bags to keep your feet dry.

Ticks: If the weather is above 37 degrees, ticks can be active. Protect yourself from Lyme disease by applying permethrin at least a day before the hike (we will be unable to spray your boots the day of the hike as it won't dry before potentially adversely affecting water organisms on the property).

Parking: limited parking at hiking location, so we'll carpool to minimize the number of trailhead cars
